Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an opening for a Consultant to provide assistance to its Procurement and Contract Management Unit. In this position, the Consultant is responsible for reviewing and analyzing vendor integrity reports, provide support to the Unit and Office, assist the Office in determining vendor integrity, and ensure organizations are operational, financially sound, and compliant with City contracting requirements.

In this position, the Consultant is responsible for reviewing and analyzing vendor integrity reports, provide support to the Unit and Office, assist the Office in determining vendor integrity, and ensure organizations are operational, financially sound, and compliant with City contracting requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
DANY is in need of a consultant to review the findings of The City University of New York, Institute for State and Local Governance’s Integrity and Background checks and accompanying reports on prospective vendors in DANY’s Criminal Justice Investment Initiative (CJII) program.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of government vendor vetting process, local laws and policies impacting procurements is preferred

Proficient in VENDEX and Lexis Nexis or similar databases

Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines

Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy

Skilled at culling and analyzing large amounts of information from numerous sources.

Bachelor’s degree required
- Six (6) month commitment to hiring bureau.
