Description
Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an immediate opening for an Operations Analyst in its Operations Division. In this position the Operations Analyst is responsible for providing high level overall support to the division and the Office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating all aspects of daily vehicle requests: scheduling of office vehicles to DANY staff when required for case-related issues, homicide calls, and as loaners when office-assigned vehicles are being repaired. Also, scheduling of the Operations Van when required for search warrants and other office-related investigations.
  • Scheduling and following-up on all preventative maintenance services for vehicles. 
  • Responding to office-issued vehicular accidents: contacting local authorities to begin filing a police report, collecting that report and pictures of the vehicle after the accident, starting insurance claim procedures, etc. 
  • Processing vehicle repair requests: reviewing DANY protocols with drivers involved in accidents, ensuring drivers obtain quotes for repairs, coordinating process when the fault is a third-party issue, etc. 
  • Responsible for maintaining all DANY vehicle registration: monthly submissions of registration paperwork for expiring registrations, new registrations of undercover vehicles, etc.
  • Responsible for monthly fleet updates that must be submitted when changes in license plates occur. 
  • Handling all processes of moving and parking violations, and EZ Pass violations occurring with regard to DANY fleet. 
  • Processing the disposal of vehicles once vehicles have been replaced after outliving their useful life cycle.
  • Review and approve all submitted fiscal reimbursement receipts that meet DANY approved reimbursement amounts for car washes. 
  • Processing monthly database updates with regard to current odometer readings and operating costs.
  • Perform related administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Ability to collect, edit and interpret data in existing databases.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple short-term projects.
  • Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Process an analytical mind and inclination for problem solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
  • Dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with staff in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and consultants.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Commitment:
  • One (1) year commitment to the hiring division.
