Description
Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) has two (2) openings for Human Capital System Analysts in its Human Resources Department. In this position, under the guidance of the Deputy Director of Human Capital Management (HCM) Application, the Analysts will support HR in maintaining and supporting the Oracle HCM application. The Oracle HCM application's functions include, but are not limited to: Core Human Resources operations, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition Management [TAM], and Enterprise Learning Management [ELM].


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform triage of Oracle application-related issues.
  • Act as a training resource to HR and DANY users.
  • Assist with the configuration, optimization, and future troubleshooting of the system.
  • Offer solutions to improve system efficiencies and ensure compliance.
  • Proactively identify system needs based on patterns of user issues.
  • Serve as technical support bridge with external vendor (Oracle).
  • Coordinate post-production upgrades, software patches, and enhancements for the Oracle HCM suite.
  • Escalate issues as required and ensure a timely distribution of information within the organization in order to expedite resolutions.
  • Follow the client support guidelines as outlined by Deputy Director.
  • Maintain support documentation as needed.
  • Perform audits and reconciliation of employee information.
  • Complete data extractions from Oracle systems to be used in high level reports, audits, or for other reporting needs.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience in supporting users.
  • Strong technical background in computer software and troubleshooting required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Extensive application life cycle experience in gathering, application sourcing, design, development, testing, training, rollout, and post-implementation support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (including advanced data functions in Excel).
  • Strong technical aptitude and an ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
  • Functional experience in designing, building, testing, training, and post-production support of applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to collect and analyze data and succinctly present findings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of flexibility, with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
  • Experience with Oracle Capital Management systems a plus.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in computer science, information technology, or a related field). 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Additional technical training a plus.
Commitment:
  • One (1) year commitment to hiring department.
