Program Summary:
The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) has a full-time job opening for a Senior SharePoint Developer. In this role, you will work closely with a team of other SharePoint and .NET developers as well as interacting with key DANY users for design, testing and feedback. DANY operates a SharePoint 2013-based intranet in addition to a set of specialized SharePoint-based applications. The ideal candidate has deep SharePoint product and development skills, is innovative and passionate and has proven skills to deliver quality applications on tight schedules. This is a key new role in our Intranet/SharePoint Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SharePoint-based applications and workflows based on business requirements
  • Be part of the team setting the overall Microsoft & SharePoint Architecture and Development direction
  • Validate performance by developing and conducting test scripts; completing bug fixes
  • Prepare technical documentation, and support our Technical Trainer to develop business user training on portal functionality and custom solutions
  • Throughout the projects you will participate in status meetings on progress, priorities, issues, performance issues, and future work.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Deep SharePoint expert with a broad range of real-world experiences
  • At least 3 years’ experience with advanced knowledge and in-depth understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013; SharePoint Designer; InfoPath, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint Foundation 2013
  • Experience with .NET development as it relates to SharePoint customization for UI, webparts, web services and other elements
  • Experience with Javascript and other scripting technologies used for SharePoint development
  • Experience with NINTEX Workflow 2010/2013, Nintex Forms 2010/2013
  • Experience with SharePoint Search custom development and configuration
  • Understanding of Microsoft’s enterprise architecture and strategies
  • Background in SharePoint and Microsoft business analysis tools a plus
  • Background in SharePoint Server Administration and Microsoft SQL Server a plus
  • Microsoft SharePoint certifications; MCSE SharePoint is a major plus
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or at least 3 years' experience.
Commitment:
  • Two (2) year commitment to hiring bureau.
