Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an opening for an IT Analyst 2 in its Information Technology (IT) Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintains the inventory database.
• Tracks and receives all purchases (from mail room and outside deliveries).
• Manages the disbursement of received equipment.
• Manages the disbursement and replenishment of stock equipment as needed.
• Connect and disconnect Workstations and printers.
• Troubleshooting of equipment for maintenance, warranty and support purposes.
• Works with outside support vendors on the maintenance of equipment.
• Responsible for physical inventory.
• Responsible for relinquishment.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment; able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment (~70 lbs).
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly-organized, resourceful, and reliable.
• Current knowledge of diverse products and services used in an IT organization.
• Experience working within an IT department.

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Commitment:

• Two (2) year commitment to hiring bureau.
