Description
Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an immediate opening for an Operations Analyst in its Operations Division. In this position the Operations Analyst is responsible for providing high level overall support to the division and the Office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist division heads to evaluate and consolidate various individual database/spreadsheet into a comprehensive database. Responsible for creating, collecting, and maintaining new databases that the Division utilizes for DANY initiatives.
  • Maintain, update, and enhance the Office key management inventory: schedules installations, acts as liaison to DCAS and/or current Office contract locksmith and assigns keys to new employees.
  • Review and enhance all Operations Division databases which includes air conditioner system inventory, air conditioner maintenance and repairs databases, NYC furniture donation tracking database, city-wide auction database, wireless database, asbestos removal/testing, fire safety.
  • Schedule and attend site visits for all NYC sponsored furniture donation events.
  • Coordinate the Office emergency response management system (Everbridge), which includes weekly updates, and assists with updating the emergency manual.
  • Organize, maintain, and update all Office signage system including office wide directory and individual office signs.
  • Work with Operations Division team to establish and meet the Office needs and to assist management to improve efficiency.
  • Work with department managers to determine and outline specific data needs for various business projects. Identify and recommend new ways to analyze data and generate useful business reports.
  • Submit annual procurement request for Operations Division.
  • Assist with all strategic office space initiatives, either modest internal space related modification or larger construction related initiatives.
  • Enter building-related repairs and generate weekly reports for outstanding DCAS repairs in DCAS's building management system (Archibus). 
  • Assist with reviewing and editing office-related protocols and procedures.
  • Interact with staff to distribute office equipment.
  • Generate various reports weekly and/or as requested for senior Operations Division staff.
  • Perform related administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Ability to collect, edit and interpret data in existing databases.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple short-term projects.
  • Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Process an analytical mind and inclination for problem solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
  • Dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with staff in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and consultants.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Commitment:
  • One (1) year commitment to the hiring division.
