Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an opening for a Human Resource Management Systems Supervisor in its Human Resources Department. In this position, under the guidance of the HR Deputy Director for HCMS Analytics and Employee Engagement, the Supervisor with a wide range of latitude is responsible for the supervision of the Human Resource Management Systems team and ensuring that Human Resources initiatives and directives are met.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and supervise staff responsible for the data entry and audit of Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and Performance Review Management System.
  • Manage and train supervisors with the annual employee performance review policy and procedure.
  • Monitor the monthly status of the completion of performance reviews.
  • Assist Deputy Director with producing final 211 Waiver workflow for review and submission to NYC Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS).
  • Assist with the non-legal staff new hire orientation of HRMS, Performance Reviews, and Public Employee Safety and Health policies and procedures.
  • Perform related duties and tasks as assigned.

  • Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to update and edit existing proprietary databases as well as learn emerging industry-standard technology.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow.
  • Dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with staff in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize among competing needs and respond quickly to requests for information.
  • Resourcefulness, initiative and good judgment essential.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous experience with Human Resource Management Systems.
  • 3 or more years of prior supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of NYC Personnel and Payroll systems (NYCAPS, PMS, CHRMS, CityTime).
  • Knowledge of NYC civil service position classification regulations.

Commitment:

  • One (1) year commitment to hiring bureau.
