Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for a Project Architect (temporary full-time 1 year minimum) in its Facilities Design Unit. In this position the Project Architect is responsible for providing space planning, layout and design support to the unit.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to work independently and to accept direction and learn new skills
- Experience with commercial and office build-out projects
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Detail oriented and precise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience producing SD, DD and CD documents using AutoCAD 2011 (or later) and SketchUp
- Ability to work affectively with multiple stake-holders, committees and agencies to ensure the successful completion of a project.
- Willingness and ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and to accept direction and learn new skills

- Bachelor’s Degree, Architecture major
- One (1) year commitment to the hiring bureau
- Masters Preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Knowledge of New York City Building Code and ADA requirements
- LEED experience
- Experience with Public projects
- Experience with New York City Agencies
