Description
The New York County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for a SharePoint Developer.  The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technology related required.
  • Minimum of 5 years administering and developing SharePoint, 2007, 2010 & 2013 solutions while working closely with a user base. Minimum of 5 years .NET Development skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, developing SharePoint Web Parts, creating SharePoint workflows, customizing SharePoint site CSS, creating complex InfoPath forms, SQL queries and relational database structures.
  • Skills & Abilities: customer service, verbal communication, technical and procedural writing, analysis & problem solving, time management, multi-tasking.
  • Key Attributes: outgoing and approachable, professional, ability to work with tight deadlines, organized, adaptable, reliable, responsible, extremely detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, comfortable giving presentations/training to individuals or groups.
Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive understanding of SharePoint Designer 2013, C# and .NET 4.0, SQL Server and web design and implementation as well a deep understanding of SharePoint technologies including Web Part development, BDC/BDS, Workflow, Event Receivers, and SharePoint Administration.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, delivering, managing, and supporting medium scale end-to-end Microsoft SharePoint based content management solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft SharePoint 2013 features and architecture including enterprise content management, document management, records management, information classification, enterprise search, and Business Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of windows servers 2003/2008, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL server 2005/2008/2012, and IIS6/7.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
  • Designing, developing, configuring and deploying Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 201 applications.
  • Making informed recommendations pertaining to MS SharePoint information, site architecture, infrastructure, software implementation, web parts design and testing and deployment.
  • Recommending and documenting best practices for software configuration, site permission policy and site content management.
  • Will work closely with business stakeholders to assess functional requirements that may fit within the SharePoint platform.
  • Subject matter expert for all things SharePoint and will provide direction on what solutions to build with this platform.
