Description
Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an opening in the Community Partnerships Unit for a Unit Coordinator.  The Unit Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the administrative functions of the unit, as well as assisting unit leadership with performance management.  
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform various receptionist, clerical and secretarial duties. Answer phones and answers inquiries from DANY staff.
  • Assist unit Director and Deputy Director to ensure efficient management of unit operations, including but not limited to: staff schedules, inventory of event materials.
  • Maintain and update the unit's Partner Agency Management (PAMS) database system.
  • Serve as a lead in developing and analyzing unit-wide metrics and performance measurement.
  • Perform related tasks as assigned.
  • Perform all assignments in an accurate, professional and expeditious manner.
  • Be a dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with staff in a team-oriented environment.P 
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Spanish speaking is preferred.
  • American Sign Language a plus. 
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
Commitment:
  • One (1) year commitment to the hiring bureau.
