The New York County District Attorney’s Office seeks a temporary full-time (1 year minimum) experienced Architectural Project Manager for its Facilities Design Unit.  The Project Manager would join a fast-paced, collaborative office that is responsible for the space needs; fixtures and furniture for one of the largest and most innovative District Attorney’s offices in the country.
 
Required Qualifications:
 
 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited college; minimum 10 years of experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Extensive experience with commercial and office build-out projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-phase and complex projects on budget and on time
• Knowledge of construction methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience producing SD, DD and CD documents using AutoCAD 2011 and SketchUp
• Knowledge of New York City Building Code and ADA requirements
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work affectively with multiple stake-holders, committees and agencies to ensure the successful completion of a project.
• Experience managing consultants and contractors

 
Preferred Qualifications:
 

• LEED experience.
• Experience with Public projects
• Experience with New York City Agencies
