The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) is currently seeking a professional with wireless network related experience in its Telecommunications Unit.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Provide training for DANY staff on the use of blackberries and cellular phones. Troubleshoot all blackberries, cellular phones and aircard inquiries.  Analysis of rate plans, minutes, data and texting usage for over 600 users.  Maintain wireless priority service with all carriers for DANY; act as liaison with all voice, data and wireless providers.  Audit all Verizon, AT&T and Nextel billing.  Install, maintain and troubleshoot DSL Service for the office.  Maintain inventory and billing usage for all DSL lines.   Responsible for ordering, assigning, replacing, and maintaining equipment inventory.  Perform related duties as assigned.
The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science or a related field.).  Strong knowledge of computer applications and wireless devices required.  Must be an excellent and independent problem solver.  Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in the development and completion of work projects.  Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of staff.  Strong written and oral communication skills essential.
